Selin testifies at House hearing on mercury
/On Tuesday, May 21, Noelle Selin testified before the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce. She presented research conducted with Dr. Amanda Giang showing the benefits to the U.S. of mercury reductions.
The hearing examined the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recent proposal that says limiting mercury and other air toxics from coal and oil-fired power plants is not “appropriate and necessary” under the Clean Air Act. View her testimony and find more information about the hearing here.
